Joe must have been bullied and picked on as a child. He is always telling his opponents he wants to beat them up or take them behind the woodshed or compete with them in other types of physical confrontations. What is he like 15? He has some serious issues.
I wondered about that too. Biden has things in common with John Kerry. They were both intensely, insanely ambitious from an early age. They both went to private schools and I don't think they fit in there. Kerry had very well-off relatives on his mother's side, but he was strange and was bullied. Biden's school was nowhere near as exclusive as Kerry's, but it was in the former mansion of one of the country's wealthiest men (John J. Raskob). And Biden and Kerry both had secrets. Kerry's grandfather was Jewish and had committed suicide. Biden's father had business failures. Was Biden bullied? I don't know, but he probably felt inferior and inadequate in a rich kid's school, so he had to boast and brag.
Kerry is sort of an upper class version of Biden. They both have a very high sense of entitlement, but it's a little more natural in Kerry. Biden has to keep telling people how smart and tough and talented he is. He also has to pretend to be more of regular guy than Kerry has to. It's said that Kerry is always asking people "Do you know who I am?" when he wants to get special privileges. Biden is always telling people who he thinks he is, and how much smarter or more talented or tougher he is. And I feel like they both lied to me for years. Biden's wife isn't a real doctor of medicine. Kerry isn't Irish (Biden isn't really as Irish as he pretends either).
