The Democrats are embracing the founding fathers, invoking their names, quoting them, and pointing to their wisdom in crafting the constitution. These are the same founding fathers that the left routinely denounces as mean, evil, white racist slave holders who created a constitution that they feel is no longer relevant in today’s world.
I believe that's one reason why they temper the glass.

The 20% in the mushy middle (who don’t really know what they believe) don’t care.
The Dims will vote and get their long-sought impeachment. Then Trump will win in a landslide in 2020 and they’ll be left wondering what happened.
