Yet another tragic display of a failure of government, or systemic racism, perhaps both???

Black tar heroin is the dregs from crude heroin production. When you can’t get or afford anything else, it’s your last backup.

7 Killed by Flesh-Eating Bacteria Linked to Black Tar Heroin in San Diego County I'm guessing personal responsibility for consequences doesn't come into play? At least it was a socialist dem government that failed them.

The Food and Drug Administration needs to hire more Black Tar Heroin inspectors.
Keep it safe legal and rare.

The stuff came right over the line into San Diego. It’s even got the name of Mexican brown. Just another illegal alien we need to wall out and in many cases shoot on sight when someone tries to cross the border with it. Poison for our kids. No other purpose.

HUH? You mean “Drug Dealers” might not sell only the very best drugs? They didn’t get the “Good Housekeeping” seal of approval? /s

A couple of massive airstrikes on some cartel locations would be good. Just do it for chits and giggles.

Reminds me of some scenes from Requiem For a Dream.
Apparently heroin bad for you.

Actually in the drug culture, killing some of your customers is not a bad thing. It lets others know that you have the good stuff.

You can’t legislate personal responsibility or morality. Everyone involved in this chain of death ( from the people making the drug, transporting it, marketing and selling it, those who for a price willingly overlooked all of it, and finally the individuals who with their own free will decided to use it) molded their conscience to allow participation. The culture of hedonism and decadence is hence “normalized”. Its the same process that allows politicians and others to acquiesce to the wanton killing of pre born human life and even newly born , breathing life. Really wonder how long American, with such a high percentage of its population that has entered a post Christian neo pagan state of epicurean narcissism, without a unifying common consensus of values will continue to exist as a nation.

The sources of the black tar heroin were not yet known. An investigation was underway.
It most likely came from an undocumented pharmacist that was distributing undocumented controlled substances without a prescription.

I know! The solution is to legalize govt sponsored pure white heroin available in vending machines. Sort of like the way legal marijuana solved all of kalifornia's problems.
Wait.
Never mind.

To summarize:
Seven junkies died after expensive hospital care (no doubt paid for by their fellow citizens) solely due to their decision to be junkies. I'm trying to work up some sympathy for them, but the only sympathy I can find is for those whose earnings were plundered to pay for these parasites.
I don't care if someone decides that being high is the end all and be all of their life, but if their health suffers as a result of that decision then tough sh!t. If they can't pay for their treatment let them die. Health care is a commodity not a right.
