As long as Starbucks fires the right person. Thats all. The right person should be fired. It shouldnt have made national news in my opinion. But the person who knowingly affixed the labels should be fired. Doesnt matter if its a cop or not. Its a customer.
The manager worked there nine months. Anybody who stays at Starbucks for nine months is going to be called a manager. Id be willing to bet, based on my having kids who worked there, that there was no management training or other formal thing for the so-called manager they fired. I cant think of a job where after nine months youre fully prepared to run operations. They call these kids managers to make them feel important. They dont know the first thing about managing.
So my only gripe is that if the manager was fired I HOPE its because she played an active role in denegrating a customer and didnt just miss a label that was passed her way by a different idiot barista.
On the other hand, with 3.5% unemployment, if she is any good at all, she should have no problems getting another job, although probably harder for her now that she whined all over social media about how people shouldn’t whine all over social media about things.
