The penultimate set of College Football Playoff rankings were revealed on Tuesday. Ohio State, LSU and Clemson and Georgia ranked as the Nos 1-4 teams, respectively, while Utah, Oklahoma and Baylor slotted in the Nos. 5-7 spots. The Bulldogs have the best bet of making the final field with a win over LSU, but Utah and the winner of the Big 12 championship likely need to make a statement that can't be ignored by the selection committee.

What is Alabama ahead of Auburn?
Why is Alabama ahead of Auburn?
Good question.
College Football for $500
The answer is, this season’s committee is erratic and shows more favoritism than any other.
“The answer is, this seasons committee is erratic and shows more favoritism than any other.”
Is there any recourse against the committee? It cost Auburn big $$$ with a lesser bowl bid.
Why is Alabama ahead of Auburn?
Because, if not for two freakish pick sixes and a missed chip shot field goal, Bama would have won by 20.
Bama would have won by 20.
Whoops, 17

Auburn should be ahead of Penn State as well.

What would the committee due if Wisconsin, LSU, Viginia, Utah and Baylor all won?
Dang, they’re treating Alabama like they used to treat Boise State.
Peach Bowl, sux to be you now, doesn’t it ?
I don’t see Virginia winning, but Utah and Baylor wins wouldn’t astound me.
In your scenario, LSU goes cause they won. OSU goes with having only 1 loss and that being to a top 10 team theyd already beaten. Then Utah and Baylor get in based on their wins.
Chik fil A is the sponsor. The game is on a Saturday, so they will be open. They can sell their chicken sandwiches to all of the gay people and Plan Parenthood could stay open for extended hours, thanks to Chik Fil A donations.
Peach Bowl, sux to be you now, doesnt it?
Bunch of people locking themselves in a room trying to determine who they *think* are the 4 best teams. Just go to a 16 team tournament...nobody is going to cry over a #17 team who feels they should be top 16. The NCAA is ridiculous and slow as molasses to make changes. A 16-team tournament would rival the NFL playoffs in interest.
