The d gets me every time. How many times we discuss. Dunno think maybe going into skull dlatin Out. Definitely in that skull. The D is defilade. It is a military term mostly used in reference to artillery. A formation or position is "in enfilade" if weapons fire can be directed along its longest axis. A unit or position is "in defilade" if it uses natural or artificial obstacles to shield or conceal itself from enfilade.
