It sure doesn’t appear that way now, but he did have to spend big bucks bringing the military up to snuff - first things first. After he’s done a lot of “fixing up”, and the economy is booming and actually taking in more revenue, he may be able to attack the debt.
I think his second term will be reserved for those things that may be a bit more difficult to get through. Hopefully he’ll have Republican House and Senate to help. Welfare reform should be a little easier if there are plenty of jobs available. Cutting government programs and departments would be a great saving.
Just not filling the empty positions created by people retiring or finding jobs elsewhere will make a big dent in number of employees we pay. Hope he continues moving departments out of DC.
That’s true. Bringing in more revenue through economic growth is always the best plan. Yet liberals don’t understand that concept.
We will save a ton of money deporting illegals and stopping the invasion.
