Still having a hard time eating, speaking, and miserable with lymphedema. I am very depressed.
Your depression is very understandable.
I just pray that with each day you are healing a little more even tho it doesn’t seem like it.
My little friend who has had back to back surgeries, just like you, is also very depressed.
She just can’t seem to bounce back, can’t hardly do anything.
Doesn’t help that a friend of hers, who she used to do so much for, can’t understand why she can’t take her places like she used to.
She can not lift wheelchair in and out of car or she will do herself great damage, doctor’s orders, DO NOT LIFT ANYTHING!!
Friend bullies her, makes her feel so guilty, in my opinion.
*gentle hug*
Oh, I am so sorry for what you are going through!
I wish I was there to help you.
Please...
Rest and sleep-you NEED this to heal.
Your body WILL heal in due time.
You have had two surgeries, almost back to back.
That is a LOT to recover from!
The anesthesia drugs take awhile to leave your body.
I am SO worried for you!
Please take good care and be well!
Just take one day at a time.
Sending you love and healing prayers..

That does sound awful. And it sounds like it heals fairly slowly. I always thought mouths healed quickly but maybe not. Maybe that’s just something the dentist told me to keep me optimistic when i had gum transplants.
I had to look up the lymphedema. Is that also related to your tongue?
