A SIL makes us springerle cookies every year. As a trade off I have to make her ole fashion fudge. She is so good at how she makes them. She uses a Swedish press and they are paper thin. Her husband is diabetic so I take the fudge to her out to the garage where she works. That way it isn't around her husband. She answers the phone for the guys working there.

Used to make them thin like a cracker. Now have a recipe that are more like cakes. Have tried dozens of recipes. One day. I will find THE ONE !
