Yes the base is important at least to some level of support. How large varies I’d guess with the product. If they lose X percent but gain X plus some percentage then income/profit wise they are not failing. Time will tell.

Merely not funding truly Christian orgs will not be enough to achieve the good nationwrecking seal of approval, for what is required is essentially saluting the flag of Sodom by publicly affirming sodomy and proactively funding the homosexual agenda.
