So which of the emperors in Tacitus'
Annals did she want to emulate? Tiberius, Claudius, or Nero? (Or Augustus--he figures briefly in Book 1.) Unfortunately the portion covering Caligula's reign is lost.
Anyone who has learned Latin well enough can translate the surviving books of the Annals. I'd be more impressed if she had done a translation of the lost books of the Annals.
