I remember back in the day companies would pay any person working a major holiday double time or extra days vacation.
My mom worked at a phone company. Women phone operators with no family or no where to go loved working on Christmas day because they would get triple time.
Where I worked, for holiday work, the average Blue Collar worker got his regular pay plus time and a half.
The supervisors got their regular salary, nothing more.
Walmart is just cheap. You would think their public relations people would say how bad it looks.
