When the plague turned pnuemonic...

I believe the pneumonic issue still holds true today. If one has prolonged or excessive mucus, one should seek professional help and not ignore it. Especially, if their immune system is weak or compromised. If there is bleeding or blood present one might consider heading down to ER muy pronto.

In the meantime, I didn't hear birds chirping and the smell of roses on my last trip to Wal*Mart. Instead, there was the sound of scratching, coughing, sneezing, hacking, wheezing, and the smell of puke, poop, funky body odors, stale farts, and marijuana floating about in the air. But not to worry. I just grabbed the nearest cart or mobility scooter and off I went. I didn't smell any of that exhaust fumes, ozone, or CO2 stuff they told us to avoid. /s

P.S. I now find myself listening for gunfire and explosions. I keep aware of the nearest escape route at all times while I shop.

I life far away from any big population centers, and I like it like that. At night I’m more scared of mountain lions outside in the dark than two leggeds. When I hear gunshots, it most always means people are target practicing or scaring off bears.

Same here except the bears are not a problem. In Texas, it’s snakes, wolves, and other critters trying to steal my chickens and eggs.

Out here in Agony Acres (my suburban ranch in paradise), it is reassuring when I hear gun fire. I have good neighbors, the kind I would never call unless I needed help and the kind who would never call me unless they needed help. Let’s just say we have good relationship with each other.

I’m getting too old to practice much anymore and besides I lost most of my guns in a boating accident a few years back.

I know exactly what you mean. It is reassuring to know that neighbors are practicing gun control.

No need, as the plague circulates in the wildlife of the western states within the U.S.
