The nations oldest public high school football rivalry ended with a bench-clearing brawl on Thanksgiving. Wellesley and Needham players went after each other with just two minutes left in the game.

Not much of a brawl from what I saw.
Probably not a coincidence that Needham and Wellesley are two of the 20 cities in Mass that participate in Metco, the program that imports black kids from the inner city to affluent, suburban high schools.
Isn’t Wellesley an all-girl school? What kind of brawl is that?
That’s the college.
The school and the town it is located in share the same name.
The score was 27-0. Nothing hurts more than getting whipped by a your cross-town rival after weeks of hype and preparation.
Shows that the boys’ natural pride and testosterone have not yet been completely bred out of them by their feminized PC public school elders.
Knowing both those towns, that sounds more like a pajama boy liberal kitten girl play session that for a few seconds allowed for a brief expression of whatever traces of testosterone are left in upper middle class and wealthy MA.
Whatever happened, that testosterone, along with testosterone's evil brother CO2, and their mean, mean uncle Hate, have no place, NO PLACE, in the socialist virtue signaling MA fake intellectual cesspool.
Sports are the opiate of the inebriate. Sports are also an integral part of every failed civilization. At least the Romans passed out bread till they were unable to.
"Violent ground acquisition games such as football is in fact a crypto-fascist metaphor for nuclear war."
Although I'm completely burnt out on NFL and rarely watch a school game, it is comforting to know that West Side Story still exists in America
Group Pride, whether hometown, school, firehalls, whatever seems to be missing from what I remember as a child and from what I read in American history.
When baseball first came about in America, all KINDS of match-ups and rivalries developed and IMO, were part of and helped bond Americans to each other.
Kids today seem to be missing that personal/collective (I REALLY tried to find a proper adjective and that isn't it, but close enough) connection to being an American.
Lol!
“Call me when you have no class”.
Robert Downey Jr, nailed the stereotypical snowflake in that movie.
Those folks who sneer at Southerners, going at it...
And ‘Lou’ nailed the football captain . . . “I’m worried about Lou, he might lose his trigger finger” . . . “Why did he have to take on the whole team?” . . . “They’re not tough. My high school team was tough. After they sacked the quarterback they went after the family too”.
Love most of that movie.
“Oh, yeah? Vanessa, let’s talk about class for a minute, alright? Here’s you and Giorgio in the guest room. A little classy, isn’t it? Here’s you and Giorgio in the rumpus room. Another classy one, huh? Ooh, this one, I can’t figure out. There’s you, there’s Giorgio... What’s with the midget over here?”
Trendy Man:
Mr. Melon, your wife was just showing us her Klimt.
Thornton Melon:
You too, huh? She’s shown it to everybody.
Trendy Man:
Well, she’s very proud of it.
Thornton Melon:
I’m proud of mine too. I don’t go waving it around at parties, though.
Trendy Man:
It’s an exceptional painting.
Thornton Melon:
Oh, the painting.
That’s not a brawl. More media hype to attack white kids. Most baseball bench clearings are worse than that.
Not the oldest...Norwich Free Academy against New London is the oldest. Both of them are old...
