I used to do that. In recent years I've managed to avoid that unless I suddenly realize something isn't going to arrive on time because the boat from Europe sank or something.
I went grocery shopping Tuesday night to avoid the Wednesday grocery store rush. Parking around the Walmart grocery store and other grocers Wednesday was not quite as bad as “black Friday” sales are.
