As far as I'm concerned, this 2017 donation was an oversight and an aberration. However, Chick-fil-A Foundation's recent change in donation policy & practice is not. It's a purposeful betrayal of the company's purported principles and its customers' values.
Businesses need to understand, liberals froth at the mouth and scream boycott. But they rarely do so. Conservatives tolerate only so much, and then they speak with their actions.
Precisely, my good FRiend.
Nobody had to organize this Conservative into staying away from (anti-2A) Dick's or Walmart, I just made informed choices to go elsewhere.
Similarly, no one needed to organize me into opting completely away from Gillette (and by extension, P&G), I simply chose to choose the other brands that do not choose to offend me with their foolishly accusative advertising.
As far as Chick-Fil_A, to keep my business they need to make some immediate changes in their philanthropy organization. (Firing w no parting bonuses) And a good start would be to re-instate the Salvation Army as beneficiaries.
