‘Sex Ed Showdown’: Parents Defeat Planned Parenthood in Blue Massachusetts
BREITBART ^ | Nov. 26, 2019 | Dr. Susan Berry

Parents and church leaders in Worcester, Massachusetts, joined with Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) to defeat a Planned Parenthood-implemented sex-ed curriculum in public schools.

In a column at the Daily Signal, Michael King, MFI director of community alliances, referred to the joint efforts of his organization, parents, and church leaders as a “sex ed showdown” with Planned Parenthood and its supporters.

He told Breitbart News in a phone interview that the Worcester school board committee ultimately voted down the curriculum because of the outreach of both parents and church leaders who outnumbered supporters of Planned Parenthood.

King explained MFI has reached out to about 125 different churches across the state throughout the past three years.

He testified before the school board committee after reviewing the “Making Proud Choices” sex-ed curriculum materials, asserting that “abstinence” has been “redefined” in one of the program’s workshops to include:

Good, but the fact that the idiots would have doubtless voted it in without the parents opposition is the scary thing.

“Parents and church leaders in Worcester, Massachusetts, joined with Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) to defeat a Planned Parenthood-implemented sex-ed curriculum in public schools.”

This is exactly what it takes to keep these ultra liberal school administrators in line. Parents, church leaders and any conservative groups available storm school board meetings and demand the ultra liberal sex education and “inclusive” minority groups steer clear of young peoples education or a new school board is in order.

Its like having RJR Reynolds come in and talk about cigarettes and vaping, or Coca Cola coming in and discussing how to properly drink soda.

This is good.
But they also have to fight against and prevail over the Trannyhood Trainers. No shortage of perverts and others trying to co-opt youth for their own selfish ambitions.

That has to be one of the most blatant examples of redefining language I’ve ever seen. Even by the standards of the left that was ridiculous, but I guess they wanted to be able to say “Oh yes, we promote abstinence very strongly” when a parent asks.

Worcester is an unusual city in Massachusetts. I think most of the city is more Conservative/Libertarian than people think..

Of course, in a liberal state like Mass, it is still liberal...not as bad as Boston or Springfield...

Is the Republican Party actually represented the conservative half of America, they would have been leading the way on fighting this stuff decades ago. But the truth is, the martini sipping Country Club Republicans who run the party, never really liked the religious people who joined back in the 70s. So they just pay lip service during election time, and then let the liberals do whatever they want after that.

I’ve said before, it is Congress, both parties, that have failed Americans for 30+ years only interested in keeping their own power sphere.
