I had health insurance through my employer before I was eligible for Medicare. Maybe people should make wise decisions.

All those countries who have free health care have worse quality health care. It is a mathematical truth. If the best restaurant in NY were forced to serve 100 more people a night for free, does anyone think the quality would remain the same?
As long as some doctors are going to be free to work for direct pay from patients, I don’t care. Because I just want the USA to have some excellent care still. I do wish we had some low cost care for free/taxes because it’s horrible to see truly hardworking AMERICAN families have to choose whether to treat someone or still pay bills. I’ve been there too. At that point, anyone would accept slightly inferior care to save their loved one.
