Senate Republicans should make an effort to dismiss an impeachment trial of President Donald Trump if House Democrats pass articles of impeachment against him, determined Mark Levin, host of his eponymous radio show, BlazeTV’s LevinTV, and Fox News Channel’s Life, Liberty, and Levin. He offered his remarks in a Monday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “The Republicans should fight it,” said Levin of the possibility of articles of impeachment being passed in the House and sent to the Senate for an impeachment trial. [Democrats] created their own disaster … and now they should be forced to live with it. If I’m [Chuck Schumer], I don’t want it, because [Adam Schiff] put their best foot forward.”
Levin continued, “[Adam Schiff] controlled this like the Soviet Marxists, and so they had the witnesses they wanted, they could cut off questions, and so forth, and they have have protected this whistleblower throughout, who’s not even a whistleblower.”
“If it goes to the Senate, those Republicans better pull that whistleblower in,” added Levin. “We need the face, the name, the background, [and] every single thing there is to know about this guy, because I think that’s the house of cards that’ll come down. You’ll see the conspiracy with [Adam Schiff] … in my view, [Alexander Vindman], and others. That’s crucial.”
Levin went on, “On the other hand, [the Democrats’] base is so nuts. I don’t think they’d be happy with anything short of the president hanging from a telephone pole, so they have to deal with this, and my guess is they’re trying to figure out the best way.”

Shine a mega spotlight on the corruption. Then and only then dismiss it and give criminal referrals to the Justice department.
If the Dems swing and miss, i.e. a failed vote in the House, the appear to be incompetent and stupid.
If they don’t even swing, they’re out.
If they get a base hit, they’ll be thrown out at first by the Senate, game over.
There is no path for them to hit a home run. And next season, they lose the House.
In future, Republicans will say: He was a good President but the Democrats didn’t impeach him.

The Dems want the Senate to table the impeachment. Graham says they will open up a trial. This is calling Schiff’s bluff. Schiff knows he will be the first defense witness, before the Bidens.
Maybe the trial would wake up the country to the corruption in the Democrat Party. I’d like for some of these clowns to be asked why the fbi never investigated the “hack” of the dnc. Why the relied on a private entity(crowd strike ) that worked for the dnc instead of the fbi which has government oversight .
You do realize that list probably includes Lindsay Graham, Ted Cruz, etc.
Biden has already promised to go nuclear against Graham. He's just crazy enough to rat out every Republican in Congress.
That's small potatoes. If Trump pulls the scab off the ubiquitous "Favors" bribery system, the entire government could come tumbling down.

There is a zero percent chance the Senate will have enough votes to remove POTUS Trump. It just wouldn't happen less than 1 year from an election.
Yeah, I’m curious what Biden has that he thinks he can use against Graham. But it would explain Grahams reluctance to investigate Biden. I saw Laura Ingraham take Graham to task on the issue. Graham went from saying someone should investigate to the Foreign services committee to investigate to eventually starting the investigation albeit reluctantly.
Which worries me that Graham won’t do the investigation justice.
I’d love to see every corrupt congressman and senator of both parties driven out of Congress.
Of course we wouldn’t have enough for a quorum left. We’d have to call for new elections and start from scratch.
They really need to clamp down on family members profiting and Charitable Foundations, stock and option gifts, insider trading. Those seem to be the most common scams that we know of.
I agree. And I wish Levin would stop pushing this. This gives GOP cover to not expose their buddies in the Deep State.

The usual way Rats blackmail Republicans is exposing their homosexuality. I don’t know if this applies for Graham, but Graham’s probably got “Favor” bribes coming to him.

After all this time Pelosi relents on impeachment, huh. If I didn't know better I'd think impeachment is designed to stop the dirt Guliani has on them from seeing the light of day.
President Trump was able to get the Republicans to at least feign a real trial. Now Biden is threatening to go nuclear.
At this point it's a game of chicken. That's why the hesitation.
My bet is the Rats back down and merely sanction the President, and Guliani either goes missing or has a heart attack.
The Senate should start an investigation into legislative misconduct in the House.
The OGE 450 and 278 financial disclosure forms that government employees in certain positions must file are intended to prevent this kind of activity. Every time I file my 450, I ponder the fact that I have to do this to balance the bad karma of all the politicians who routinely use their positions for personal financial gain. I wish the politicians would act ethically and stop imposing burdensome regulations to prevent government employees from doing what politicians do.
