There were a lot of Canadians who didn’t like him when he came up here for a concert and said to the crowd that he didn’t want to perform because Canada wasn’t supporting Iraq, but my manager said I had to. He took a lot of flak for that, but I explained to people here that he is a passionate patriot, and you can’t fault him for that.
