Correct. I was going to add that these dogs need something to do lest they go nuts.
When I lived on the family farm, I kept heeler crosses. Busy dogs. They wore a few hats, but number one was security.
Heelers are great dogs but as you say busy. Mals are busier than that.
I’ve got a blue heeler/ border collie cross and a kelpie/border collie cross. They, like any working breed need something to do or they find it and it may not be good. Everything I’ve read about the malinois breed is they are workers and need work to do and training, Fearlessly loyal, smart, and like exercise. A very good formula for a war dog.
