Some can laugh, but what I said was true. Why “upgrade” if everything is wotking fine, you don’t require any of the “improvements” in the “upgrade”, your system is stable and you have current antivrus apps.

Sorry: I was in no way being critical of your choice, but was just being humorous - and showing my age and experience! Some nostalgia, but upgrade to Windows 98SE?

I took your answer as humor.

But I know some Freeper geeks that think my way is funny. I don’t mind. It has worked for me and made me never anxious about “keeping up with the Joneses” technology.

There is also more security and often less cost in not being on the first wave.
