The Constitution may be a living, breathing document, but I'm beginning to have my doubts about Ruth.
Folks who actually “build stuff” know how corrupt the political system is—they have to pay the bribes to make anything happen.
One of the mass media (usually unstated) lies is that the system is basically fair and honest, and that government officials treat everyone basically the same.
That is simply false. Pay to play is the way the political system works in the real world. Anyone who claims otherwise is either naive or lying.
