Fair point but I don’t recall the dingy Dems demands that President Trump release the transcript of the calls. I believe it was the opposite, they had expectations that he wouldn’t, silly Dems.

I agree that they probably didn’t want POTUS to release the phone transcript, but some were apparently demanding it (according to this artcle) with the assumption that he wouldn’t, so that they would have the perpetual talking point about POTUS trying to hide the facts from the public, etc.
