Hey Elizabeth, a few minutes of reflections would go a long way to discover why your movie bombed.
Not having seen it but reading your comments I would say you went into the making of this movie to deliver a message. You seem to forget that the business of movie making is to entertain, not educate.
You can have a entertaining movie that educate but the entertainment must come first.
That is the lesson ALL of Hollywood seems to have forgotten. No wonder they are following network TV down the drain to oblivion.
