Nothing against black people, but yeah, you’d like to think that Chinese people are cooking Chinese food, if it matters. Around here, most of the Asian restaurants have Hispanic cooks. I don’t care, as long as it tastes good, but sometimes it does matter. Bought bagels at a bagel shop in Chicago suburb; lots of Jewish people in the area -— who would think the shop was run by either Hispanics or middle-easterners? (I couldn’t tell which). My mistake. They didn’t even taste or have the mouth feel like real bagels. Should have gone to the shop named Schwartzman, instead.
