Unlike a similar case of “food tampering” involving American law enforcement earlier this year — in which an unidentified police officer forgot they took a bite of their McChicken sandwich and then accused employees of chomping on it — an incident at a Mickey D’s in California was reportedly caught on tape.
Tatyana Hargrove, an employee of a Bakersfield McDonald’s, who had recently lost a lawsuit against the city after claiming she was a victim of excessive force and civil rights violations in 2017, was arrested on Friday for allegedly tampering with a uniformed police officer’s meal.
A colleague witnessed Hargrove “rubbing a hamburger bun on the floor and spitting on it before serving it to the officer,” according to KGET. McDonald’s management, “appalled,” reported the event to authorities after reviewing surveillance footage.
“I want to ensure our customers and law enforcement that the behaviour exhibited by the individual involved in this incident does not represent my values nor those of my McDonald’s business,” restaurant owner Jim Abbate said in a statement to Fox News. “When we found out about this disturbing incident, we quickly notified the police. We are cooperating with their investigation and want law enforcement to know they are always welcome at McDonald’s.”(snip)
Hargrove was charged with mingling a harmful substance with food or drink — a felony — and her bail was set at $10,000.

If this is her, she is right to be upset. But, that’s no justification at all for her actions. She’s an idiot who is now a felon.
It’s best to avoid restaurants in general. Many of them have a policy front that implies drug testing without doing the drug testing with favored employees who are addicts. Many owners appear to be trying to rehabilitate addicts and even convicts by hiring them. Some managers will actually run interference against drug investigations with false claims about how good some favored employees are.
Too many hepatitis A breakouts from those places since the ‘80s. Some employees do wear the plastic gloves while handling both raw meat and raw lettuce, tomato and other ingredients with the same gloves. In some of those places, unauthorized individuals and animals are allowed into kitchens at night, and other horrid substances are also released on surfaces. Drug rings have been operated out of many of them, too.

I don't care what color she is. She needs to be put through the legal wood chipper. Sentencing for this type of crime needs to be very painful AND highly publicized to act as a deterrent. At the same time the Democrat scum bags are encouraging it. Most, if not all, Democrats in congress deserve to be charged at the same time as accomplices.

I don’t understand how a person, such as the one described in this news story, can just direct such an action toward someone who never did a thing to them, never even met them before.
I wonder how this person might have handled serving the officer who actually did arrest them in some matter.
When I look back on this moment in my life, it makes me feel good to know that I did the right thing with regard to this officer.

Yeah she had no reason for it, but I can see why she was pissed at them. How cops mistaken her for a 5’ 10” man welding a machete while she is riding a bike, and then release a dog on her, and then get away with it! Sorry but it might be worth time in jail. No wonder blacks hate cops!

What do you do for a living. I was in law enforcement. I was a detective. One thing that’s always in the back of your mind, believe it or not(depending on where you work), is what happens to your food. An old partner of mine had something similar happen to him. So you learn, that if you do have to eat fast food or someplace like that, you go inside and watch them make it.
