UnGoogle is a tool to show you the correct website rankings in Google search engine, and to make it easy to search in different countries.
This is achieved by deactivating your personal search, which often makes you see your own/often visited websites at a higher incorrect ranking.
Interesting.
It won’t let me change the flag, I click on it and nothing happens.
We might have found a good one my friend. Google results without Google crap. :)
Just be sure and clear your cache before using it to get the best results.
So you good? Same old same old over there?
You have a blocker on? turn it off and “trust” it to make the buttons work, that is in the java. I checked and they have no tracking ware. :)

Same old same old.
I’ll try to see if it’s a blocker issue.
Permanently whitelist/trust it and you should be good...
I turned off Ghostery and Privacy Badger for the site and it still won’t change the flag, I’ll see if it’s watrfox causing the problem.
Firefox is pissing me off though... I can’t find where to put my own option site and link as my pop up/go to search engine. They made a deal with linux mint of some kind.
Ghostery is good, but you need to replace Privacy Badger with NoScript. It lets you go turn each element on or off as needed for the site you are on. Will NoScript work on waterfox? I have the “Linux” version of Firefox.
It doesn’t work at all in waterfox, I tried Firefox and I don’t even have to turn off Ghostery and Privacy Badger, it just works.
It’s something about waterfox it doesn’t like.
Will check it out.
And BTW, I’ll recommend HostMan to any who hate ads.
I can adjust each element in Privacy Badger as far as I know.
Waterfox uses anything Firefox does so far.
It takes you to the Firefox addon page when you want to add an addon.
I don’t see NoScript but I see Script Blocker Ultimate which says NoScript in parentheses so I think it might have changed its name.
“I dont even have to turn off Ghostery and Privacy Badger, it just works.”
Yep, it worked for me in Firefox with Ghostery and NoSript both on full blocking and it worked fine. It has to be Java blocking in the Waterfox. Radio button functions are usually a problem if the java is blocked.
With NoScript the first element in the list is the URL of the site it’s self. Unblocking this accepts the java, BUT... It also sometimes turns on 50 trackers, scripts, and cross site ware at the same time. It is always a gamble with that. lol
That is when I just blacklist that site and never go back. Someone will share it somewhere else at some point.
The newest version of NoScript requires the newest version of Firefox or it will not show up as an optional addon. Did you search it? I have used the rest and absolutely recommend the NoScript as the best of them all. Even Edward Snowden recommended it. :)
Huh????? You got me stymied......
It doesn’t show up for waterfox, is there a way to get an older version?
From your search query’s and keywords they lock in and remember that you are most likely a conservative. This is what the “Google Algorithms” ARE ALL ABOUT. Then they dish you what THEY want you to see and read fact or not. From what I see so far this ungoogle unhooks from that “memory” that google keeps track of and gives straight up unbiased raw data based on true “search ranking” without biased manipulation, as it used to be back in the day. BUT... Unless you clear your cache first it will not unhook from what you have done in the past with your searches. :)
Older version of what?
Of NoScript.
Waterfox is based on an older version of Firefox.
