I’ve heard of the Pitch Perfect movies.
Saw ads for a TV series based in them or related.
This industry is ripe for replacement, even more so than 1970’s American Auto Companies.
I still prefer Angel’s Revenge.

No "wokeness". No SJW nonsense. No token pandering. Just real men being real men driving really fast cars in the mid 1960s. Real men who love their sons and are married to loyal wives who support them.
Yes, it features Matt Damon playing Carroll Shelby but if you can get past that, it's a great film, the way Hollywood used to make them.

Too many of the remakes are just mimics of the original — similar script, similar plots, similar catch-phrases and spoken lines, etc. The same with series movies.
Where they cannot come up with new originality, they gloss over with supposed-to-impress computer generated graphics.
If anything shows a modicum of success, the industry floods us with mimics and rehashes.
Looks like Ford vs. Ferrari (just opened) will do well. I’m sure A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood will do great.

Thanks for the head’s up on that. I automatically assume with any new movie political correctness is first and foremost and a good story is an accidental byproduct. Glad this is still not always the case, I’ll probably see it.
