. I wish that Trump would tell more success stories of individual people so that others in similar circumstances could identify with them. Also stories about people in the “opportunity zones”. PDJT mentions the Op zones, but no one except the people directly involved even knows what it means.

That’s exactly what happened. Some people’s only understanding of taxes is that they get a big check from the government every year.
It is sad that so few people do their own tax returns. Or I guess even sadder that they don’t look at their returns when someone else prepares them, don’t even try to understand the numbers.
