Not all, some will be trans and a few with disabilities, physical or mental, or a combination of whatever PC trend they are pandering to.
That’s hilarious. My wife watches Y And R and we do that all the time! Lol
That was such a great show, acknowledged by the X-Files as a chief influence when they had Roy in several episodes.
The thing about soaps is that they have lots of things happening in every segment, but nothing really evolves from year to year.
The Invaders deserved a longer run with some kind of victory by architect David Vincent.
“Wondering if I am the only person who hasn’t watched a single episode.”
no. there’s at least two ...
That’d be one hell of a binge watch.
Thought soap operas ended years ago.
How many NBC affiliates don’t carry it? I’m trying to understand the “distributor” argument. Perhaps they mean foreign distribution? Or if there isn’t an NBC affiliate in a given market, or if the NBC affiliate doesn’t carry the show, is the distributor supposed to convince one of the independent channels to carry it instead?
Id rather it happened to those you mentioned. Way better for the country.
They ought to get rid of Dark Shadows and some of the others while they’re at it...
In the annals of Hollywood television, it is difficult to identify a distributor more guilty of blatant conflict of interest, deceit, perfidy, and abuse of market power."
Sounds almost like a soap....
The nation’s welfare parasites have migrated to “Ellen”.
Follow the money. Just like evening tv is reality shows, daytime will be 10 different versions of “The View”. It’s simple economics. They’re cheaper to produce.
And they never work but always have time for affairs.
OMG. Guard your women and children!
And... All My Children.
My wife has watched that show for 50 plus years. Her mother hooked her...LOL
SOAP is my only soap opera.
Fun Fact: The composers of the theme song for Days of Our Lives were Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, with assistance from Charles Albertine. Tommy and Bobby composed the basic melody on an organ. Charles later added the signature flute heard at the beginning.
If you are of a certain age, you may recall that Boyce & Hart had a few hits in the 1960’s.
Their biggest single being; “I Wonder What She’s Doin’ Tonight?”. They wrote a few for The Monkeys: “Last Train To Clarksville”, “I’m Not Your Stepping Stone!”,Theme song for The Monkeys.
