it is getting to be more middle aged these days- with our better nutrition, better health care etc- 55 used to be pretty old for most people, now it’s only old for some- - 55 generally isn’t what it used to be, for some elderly folks- that’s for sure- but still- young people like that employee are just cowardly scum thugs- taking on a woman and an older woman at that-

Yes I agree about ANYONE attacking others, and the disrespect of “young” for elder.

Incidentally, as one who studies history AND graveyards a good deal, 55 has NEVER been “old” per se. Yes medical and so on help, but that has less to do with “retarding age” than just keeping alive. Same happens comparing SAME-ERA wildlife - in the wild (no help), vs captivity (good medical and nutrition).

Don’t believe the meaning of “average death age” - it’s brought down alot by death in/after childbirth, and diseases ravaging children as well as other younger healthy people. That does not mean people started bowing forward and shuffling their feet at the age of 45.
