I can imagine someone listening to Jerry McCauley preach during the era of the Civil War. It wasn’t that long ago that he was stealing the shoes off his dead babies feet to go out and buy a bottle of liquor.
Folks, God’s salvation (not man’s) is real.
An American president receiving a Nobel Peace prize for being black and having absolutely no accomplishments after being elected. Then that said Nobel laureate starting multiple wars, establishing, funding, supporting a terrorists group that killed so many across 5+ countries. In addition he paid our enemies to develop nuclear weapons, backstabbing allies and overthrow their governments. Increased racial animosity, causing police to be killed for no reason and destroyed years of progress in his country of many economic/social areas. And that President is still celebrated as some sort of messiah by way too many people.
I know, I know it’s almost impossible to believe but it happened. I swear. Nobody will believe me.
I have always thought that I had a personal relationship with Rachael from Card Member Services. We chat often but she will never give me her address. It now appears that she is seeing someone else. I’m heartbroken.
I think he was trying to make a big deal over the misspelling of “skeptic” as “sceptic” - even though the author correctly spelled “skeptical” a few sentences later.

But there is zero information or detail. Name of woman? Date it happened. City. Hospital. Doctor. Nurse. Names of myriad witnesses who went to see the sand and debated it. A photo. A hospital report. etc...
It is a nice story and to me the sand part is unnecessary. It actually detracts from the message.
Sweet story and I would love to believe it. But I don’t.

I barely saw it last time around.
Went WAY out in the boonies to avoid light pollution and had clear skies.
It was just too faint to be appreciated much.

Indeed. Brother Andrew was a personal hero of ours.
She was 12 at her first viewing and skies were darker. It’s never been excessively luminous.
Finding the 805 freeway almost completely empty at 4:30 PM on a non-holiday Monday. Wondered who to call to report a mass alien abduction of my fellow commuters. Then I rounded the bend and saw the traffic moving at its usual crawl ahead.
