Most folks cannot afford $2K for a Benelli shotgun. I have an 870P-Remington. Off the police line. Quality control assured. Approx.$700.
The M-14 is too heavy for many guys, much less girls. I carried one all over Ft. Polk, La. in the 60s. Cumbersome. I find my AR-15 Colt LE much easier to carry/fire. And ammo is everywhere.
10MM ammo hard to find. I stick with 9MM. Glock 19 and 26. Also, a couple of .45s.
I have a Maverick 88, $200 out the door, best bang for the buck I’ve seen.
