” 50-gauge Barrett long rifle”
Absolute morons, everywhere.
Yeah sure.
in possession of two .223 long guns, a .308 long gun, ten .223 caliber magazines, a .308 full magazine and a 50-gauge Barrett long rifle,
= = =
Se must be an octopus, to be able to shoot all those at once at a convey, working alone of course.
We got the guy, Trump.
It’s over.
Our media likes to sweep things in Mexico under the rug and has for decades. As cartels become bolder it is harder to keep a lid on what is going on down there.
Mexico over the years has had the attitude that the cartels only target people who are somehow involved. They also target anyone that does anything against them, especially reporters, law enforcement, private citizens who report their criminal activity. As common sense would tell you it is also not safe to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So I would say cartels are a danger to everyone.
Acting as though cartels are not a serious threat is what has led to their ability to increase power/control over the decades. As long as concern had an answer...well they only bother those people, not us.
The problem is the cartel is all about power and money and they have influenced the entire government in Mexico from local to national. Gaining more and more influence over the years.
We have to wake up, we can’t allow them to do that in the US. I believe they have already made progress with some in our government on their payroll.

Just an aside story about prior years.
Banamex used the Burroughs line of computers for their banks. One day back in the 80s we/Santa Barbara got a call about a problem in Hermosillo which is the capitol of Sonora. I was the fly and fix guy then and when I say fly I mean commerical. But I did have another sideline. I told my manager to give me credit for driving 2 cars and after a wince he said OK. I got the wife and another technician and we walked across the street and got in to a Bonanza.
I taught flying as a hobby. We flew into Hermosillo without any visas. Had passports but they didn’t state why we were there. I think it took 3 twenty dollar bills, one for each officer, to overlook the computer listings in the back and accept that we were on vacation.
Fixed the problen the 2nd day and the bank people set us up for a couple of days in Kino Bay. A resort town on the inland Baja Gulf.
Mexico when it was OK. Drove the length of the Baja down to Cabo San Lucas in ‘91. And back of course. No way now.
In other words, the cartels sent down one lackey who was their biggest F-up to be the scapegoat and take the heat off them.
Does anyone slightly believe that the local cops simply arrested a guy and announced it?
You can bet with all the publicity in this case the Mexican government is going to be very anxious to find these guys
Look to the border crisis and are helping tremendously to prevent those caravans from coming - they know where their bread is buttered and that Donald Trump controls their future
just one guy did all that??? right.
Now they say that guy was not involved in ambushing the women and children...
