Speaking of buffets, (literary license, here), there's a nice little restaurant with a buffet in Bethany,Missouri. Saturday night it's prime rib and seafood. No crab legs, though. 😞 We also went there on a Tuesday. Taco bar, and regular buffet. Always has fried chicken, pit ham, and shrimp and fish. It's called Toot Toot's Restaurant and Lounge. Home made cobblers. Nice salad selection.

While visiting from California last year, took a detour returning from Jamestown to Washington, went to Virginia Diner in Wakefield. Their southern specialties buffet recommended by Food Network. Really enjoyed it but more to the point I learned that Wakefield is the self-proclaimed Peanut Capital of Virginia. Having bought nuts from there Ill never go back to those floor sweepings that Planters calls peanuts.
