My Great Uncle John Coolac ate a 48 egg omelette while in the army. That was over 80 years ago, but the story stays alive. It did make him sick.

For my part I am two for two in eating contests, as a college student I won a Subway footlong eating contest (speed alone, eating one), and in high school I won a blueberry pie eating contest (small Table Talk, hands behind back, again, speed in eating one). You can go far in this area if you lack dignity on food matters. I have aged out, and my wife frowns on food eating contests anyway.

I can’t understand the Nathan’s repeating hot-dog-eating-champ wolfing down about 80 (can’t recall exact number) hot dogs with buns annually.

Wow! Haven't heard the name Table Talk in ages... grew up eating the small pies. Mom used to go to the TT outlet in Worcester and stock up on the pies set out for clearance.
