I would suggest, since the 1990s...they’ve (the Army) have a problem in terms of quality officers. I might suggest the same for the Air Force as well. So if you need to promote seven out of ten folks up...you are simply looking for people who filled the square pegs, and avoided any disciplinary trouble. The guys with connections and ‘real’ degrees, will simply leave service after four to six years...avoiding the problem of being ‘led’ by the incompetent fools.
My son is a newly commissioned Air Force officer. He will help break that problem.
