That was bad enough, but the worst thing about Holmes was arguably that his out-of-control drug habit directly led to the Wonderland murders. If the gang that was supplying him hadn’t ripped off Eddie Nash (with Holmes’s help - to pay off his debt to them), there would have been no grizzly retaliation (which, apparently, Holmes was forced to participate in). Holmes was lucky Nash didn’t have him murdered along with the others.
You know that Dirk Diggler/drug theft scene from “Boogie Nights” was all based on Holmes.
The movie “Wonderland” with Val Kilmer as Holmes was pretty good.
