Conservative Student Group denied by Drake University Student Senate

DES MOINES, Iowa — A student organization at Drake University is crying foul after the Student Senate voted 12-6 to deny Turning Point USA as an official Student group. The vote to deny the conservative group was held Thursday night in a closed-door session.

Advertisement Drake officials said the Student Senate has full authority to review and approve or decline student organizations, as part of the campus-wide shared governance model at Drake, and independent of the University’s administration. John Altendorf is the Co-President of Drake College Republicans. He says the Student Senate recently accepted Drake Comrades, a “leftist” student organization. “This should serve as a reminder to prospective, current, and former students of Drake University that if they lean, even slightly, conservative that Student Senate does not have their interest at heart,” said Atlendorf.

TP-USA is not conservative. Theyy promote gender bending, and the LGBQT agenda. The Con part in the description of TP USA is correct.

TP USA is a tremendous organization! They get conservative ideas onto college campuses to battle the 100% non stop flood of liberalism that the students would otherwise not be exposed to. Even if the message has to be packaged in such a way to make it palatable to the students, it's still an organization that is completely on our side and whose goals are for all of the same things that we support.

Lately, ever since the Berkeley incident where the ANTIFA guy punched the TPUSA guy, there are all these videos of their set-ups getting trashed at campuses. They’re all the same, some random guy comes up and starts vandalizing the table and the TPUSA guys all stand around and whine “Why are you damaging our property?”. After a while the guy takes off and when he’s long gone they allegedly call the police. No effort on TPUSA’s part to stop him.

Hate to say this, but I’m beginning to believe these “incidents” are staged.
