Prayers up for Linda. The Alzheimer’s makes everything twice as hard. They just don’t understand anything about the hospital anymore.
My husband has this dreadful disease. i had to put him in a care home three months ago because I couldn’t handle him anymore. The day I found him wandering in the cornfield was the day I decided.
It is heartbreaking and I feel for you and what you are going through.
Nancy Reagan named it “The long goodbye” and it sure is.
My BIL is very stubborn and refuses to place her in assisted living, which is where he should be too.
There oldest daughter has been forcing her dad to get all the ducks in a tow so this IS a possibility.
They had a person coming in 3 times a week until they found her abusing my sister, my sister kept saying she was mean and, yes, she was.
Praying this is the WAKE-UP CALL that was needed as the doctor explained if she hadn’t fallen and they took her to the hospital they would not have known she had a UTI which can lead to Sepsis and we know where that can go.
The Lord is good!!
So sorry to hear about your husband. I know it is hard for you, praying for both of you.
Prayers for strength and comfort....for you and your dear hubby.
Not an easy decision, by any means.
