FTA:
An Italian newspaper has received an audio recording from someone who claims to be Joseph Mifsud, the Maltese professor who allegedly delivered word of Hillary Clintons stolen emails to Donald Trump’s campaign.
“Today is the 11th of November 2019. I am Joseph Mifsud, speaking, this is my voice,” the audio begins.
He categorically denies any wrongdoing or links with intelligence services.
There is no indication in the recording of Mifsuds current whereabouts, nor is an explanation provided for the timing of the release.
THANKS GUB!....

A new tape apparently from Joseph Mifsud has been delivered to @Adnkronos via an anonymous and ciphered service from Switzerland. The supposed professor denies all allegations but he doesn’t come forward. Will it hold water? And is it really him?
TRANSLATED......”It’s November 11, 2019, I’m Joseph Mifsud”: this is how the registration arrived via email to Corriere della Sera on Tuesday night. Two audios - one of 6 minutes and one of 50 seconds - in which a man who speaks in English says he is the teacher of the Link Campus in Rome involved in the Russiagate and denies having ever had relations with the secret services. «I am a networker - he says - I meet people. But I have never had relations with the secret services and if any of the apparatuses has approached me I was not aware that it was this ». He explains that he “brought people together”, but that he “never had access to confidential information” and that he “never conveyed confidential information”.
No one is currently able to establish whether the recorded voice is actually from Mifsud or whether it is the umpteenth misleading in a story still shrouded in mystery. Officially, Mifsud passed away on October 31, 2017. He had first been in contact with George Papadopoulos, one of Donald Trump’s electoral campaigners, to whom he spoke of “numerous compromising emails for the Democratic presidential candidate in the Russian possession”. Those emails were later revealed by Wikileaks and Trump claimed that Mifsud was a “provocative agent” in the service of the European secret services who wanted to put him in trouble by revealing his relations with Moscow.
In the recording, Mifsud claims that he has not had relations with friends and family for some time and asks: “Make my words known”. He claims to want to return to a normal life. Then the final appeal: “Let me breathe again”. We must now establish who is behind this posting. The email comes from an anonymous address.
If it really is Mifsud you will have to check why he decided to come out in the open like this. If, on the other hand, it is not him, the attempt to further pollute an international case marked by a thousand mysteries is evident. Just to try to find out where Mifsud is, Justice Minister William Barr had in fact asked Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte - with a letter sent through the Italian embassy in Washington on 17 June - to meet with the heads of the Italian secret services. Permit granted: Barr met the director of Dis Gennaro Vecchione on August 15 last and on September 27 there was a new meeting at the Dis headquarters where they participated, in addition to Barr and Vecchione, the prosecutor John Durham and the heads of the Italian intelligence agencies Luciano Carta and Mario Parente. On this Count he was heard at the Copasir and said: “Our services have acted correctly”. A version that will now have to be compared with the one that Barr will include in his final report on the matter.
Then come on down, Joseph, tell us all about it.
