And of course Newsom is asking for Federal Funds as he blames Trump for not believing in Climate Change.
Even if it WAS Climate Change NOT managing the forests and other ground cover has more to do with why the fires are so bad.
You live out there, are things climate wise much different from years ago?
The only thing I can see has happened here is we don’t get as much snow which used to be TONS.
But I feel it is more a cyclical thing.
Well I have to admit when I first came out here in 1981, we had smog alerts almost every day in the summer, as well as many other times throughout the year. The smog was so bad you could taste it & you couldn’t see the mountains. It was bad, I admit.
Since they changed the gasoline mixture & other restrictions, again I have to admit, there has been a great improvement. Very little, to no smog. No smog alerts. We can see the mountains. In the last 10(?) years I have seen drastic improvements.
BUT, I think we have reached the best we can do, at this point. At this point, I don’t see any need to go further.
