Looks like they did a little stereotyping, viewing Asians and Indians as likely to be hard working, prosperous, and law abiding, while also not generally inclined to exercise their second amendment rights, thereby making them good targets.
In the ‘80s there was a S. Florida gang robbing Chinese restaurants based on the belief there would be no resistance.
Then they robbed a Chinese place where a large extended family of Italian-Americans were celebrating Nana’s birthday....
Not wise guys, just tough guys, lol.
They beat the robbers to a pulp!
