A wildfire swept through the star-studded hills of Los Angeles on Monday, destroying several large homes and forcing celebrities like Kathy Griffin, LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger to flee along with thousands of other people.
Meanwhile, a blaze in Northern California wine country exploded in size.
Terrified students at Mount Saint Mary's University were also forced to flee around midnight, taking what they could in their cars, as the flames ramped up toward the campus. Classes at UCLA were also canceled.
The flames roared up a steep hillside near the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles' Brentwood section illustrated the danger the state faces as high winds batter both ends of California and threaten to turn any spark into a devastating inferno.

I saw Yes twice - first with Rick Wakeman and the second “in the round” with a rotating stage in the center. I think it was before Alan White, though.

I also saw EL&P at the beginning of their “Works” tour that included a small orchestra. That was amazing...and they did “Karn Evil #9” - still love that song.
She’s no celebrity. What she does is not comedy. Pictures of bloody heads are not comedy. She is a spoiled, insane a$$hole who deserves to be poor and destitute.
I have already seen a dozen media people and politicians blaming global warming and the “drought”. Whatever could have been done to help limit the damage from what was predicted 6 months ago, would not have been done by officials now unable to identify the actual factors involved. Cooler and wetter than normal weather last winter caused more than normal brush and grass growth that is actually now fueling the current situation. Is this yet another example of global warming causing cooler and wetter weather?
I guess all their money can’t buy protection from nature.
