Thank you, she actually passed away earlier this year as well, after breaking her hip and then deteriorating quickly. Regarding the dementia, psychometry actually picked up early signs at about 95, but her associates and retirement home staff didn’ t notice significant symptoms until later. Last year (summer of ‘18) she was still going for walks and shopping on her own.
Nice. We should all have such lives.
My uncle skied almost daily until he was 86 then did daily walks until about 94. He fell, but thank God never broke anything. Eyesight and hearing failures were the worst of it getting cut off like that is the worst.
