That is astonishing a 45% risk reduction by taking it at night rather than in the morning.
I agree with you but at the same time if it really doesnt matter I lose nothing by making the switch, which Im going to do.
I have been taking mine in the morning. Im switching to evening. It might be a net positive, might be a net zero. But its certainly easy to do.
“My doc told me to take it first thing in the morning.
Figures.”
He’s trying to kill you. :)
I was on the patches for my testosterone, then went to the jell, then the shots as my insurance balked every few months.
The patches by far were better, but it make me look like I was attacked by a giant squid after a few weeks because it irritated my skin if I placed it on the same place.
The jell was okay, but the shots I hated. Once a month, so you go this really strong hit of it, then it tapers off, then it jumps up again, like a roller coaster.
I would stick with either the jell or have your Dr. give you the bottle and do self injections every week or so like my buddy does. It keep the level stable, that is what keeps you from having your mood swings.
Only reason I was able to get it paid for was when they did the test I had requested it because I was having all the symptoms the commercials said, and the results came back at 170, so for me it was a HUGE difference. My employees hate it though, for a while I was Captain Hardass here at my business until I got use to it.
Well, if you do, you probably wont notice, youll sleep through it. . .
“Researchers do not yet understand how the combination works, they just know that it does.”
I take a pain med - gabapentin - that they (all the research) says the same thing about. Gaba leaves the body as it goes in, not broken down, which means it does not interact with other chemicals. Yet something about its mere presence in the chemical soup of the brain cells causes a change in the response we know as pain. How, they don’t know, for sure. Their best guess is that it’s presence alters the electrical activity in the string of chemical-electrical signals in brain and nerve cells.
Its first use was with epileptics as an anticonvulsant - helped prevent epilieptic siezures.
I just made the change on my Losartan from lunch time to night time.
"Losartan, sold under the trade name Cozaar among others, is a medication mainly used to treat high blood pressure.[2] It is also used for diabetic kidney disease, heart failure, and left ventricular enlargement.[2] It is taken by mouth.[2] It may be used alone or in addition to other blood pressure medication.[2] Up to six weeks may be required for the full effects to occur.[2]"
Yep. Talk about a zero-effort, no cost, no side-effects, no risk change! Why not?
Interesting. I take my metformin, amplodipine, and hct in the AM. Lipitor at night.
I quit eating Sugar (in all it’s forms) and no longer take any Meds ... None Zero Nada 0 PERIOD
64 yr old and 50lbs lighter since I did the following
Step 1 to good health throw away ALL “Vegetable” Oil
Step 2 Get Carbs out of your life (pretty easy actually)
Step 3 Exercise (hardest for me ... I’m Lazy)
Step 4 Ignore Cholesterol (Either Eat it or your body will make it, your body is smarter than the Drug Companies)
Step 5 Be happy (I’m serious... Be Happy) Eat when you are Hungry... not by the Clock ... Food should Not rule your life but be a source of enjoyment
I am healthier now than when I was in my 40’s
My VA doctor told me that if I'd do 20 minutes of vigorous exercise three times a week that he'd keep me alive forever.
I do twenty minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise every day. I'll be 76 next month.
Awesome.
A half hour of exercise is WORK.
Our body rewards us with a feel good high for the next 2 days.
Blood pressure study ping.
Maybe the study was only of liberals who watch the late news and "comedy" shows attacking the president, and have dreams of apocalyptic climate change and dying of Covid.
