As a wayward Catholic to over 40 years that has recently tried to rejoin the flock I know I am not fit to judge.
..........................................................
Depends on one’s definition of “judge”. One definition of the verb is to form an opinion. which is of course a universal human activity.

Obedience to God is not a matter of personal opinion. God's will for our behavior is found in the scriptures. The Catholic Church has studied, codified and refined its belief system into its catechism over the past 2,000 years. Study of the Bible and the catechism of your chosen denomination will answer all your own questions as to why the Church holds the beliefs that it does, against which uniformed personal opinions are a waste of time—sort of like telling off an arresting officer when he says he clocked you for speeding.

Of course it is. Whether one believes he is being obedient to God is always based on his opinion regarding what the will of God is at any given moment. That is obvious by virtue of the fact that opinions about the revelation of His will have resulted in the creation of countless religious organizations Christian and non-Christian.
