“How come there isn’t a criminal indictment of Hilary Clinton for the crimes she has committed if Trump is so powerful? “

The larger and more politically diverse the bureaucracy below the organization’s leader, the harder it is for the leader to get his will done. For decades, I watched people far down the org chart stymie the CEO’s goals. Even if it meant the organization would fail and they would lose their jobs, they still didn’t do what the CEO wanted. I would venture to guess that the deep state employees, those who have a career in government but are not elected, are about 80 percent Democrats. The way things work, crimes are investigated mostly at the bottom of the pyramid and they bubble up for a decision at the top. If they don’t get investigated and recommended for action, nothing happens.

For all the above reasons, if Trump says, investigate the Clintons, he will receive regular reports that there is insufficient evidence. Finally, he will be gone from office and the deep state will go back to complacently picking on the little guys, like the sailor who took a selfie on a sub and ended up in prison. (Boy, that one really annoys me.)
