Have to disagree. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms will FOLLOW CNN/MSNBC in the upcoming news cycles. The next two major news cycles are 1) the investigation of the Deep State and 2) the 2020 election. While mainstream media will be holding up ‘nothing to see here’ banners, right of center news media (Fox, OANN, Newsmax, talk radio) will be on the scene as decapitated bodies are removed from the carnage. Nobody is going to change channels from red flashing lights to cute kittens. Twitter has already fallen as ad revenues dry up. I’m going to pop some popcorn and ease into my favorite recliner. You should too!
I think a year after the 2020 election...CNN will end up merging with MSNBC, and a year after that...they both merge with Facebook. Z will end up saving both of them in the end.
